About myself - I like active rest. I go in for volleyball (the last 25 years), mountain bike (including hikes in the Crimea), extreme sports rushes and trips. The camera Is always with me for the last 30 years.

About the dog – We have never had a dog. The children have grown up and the wife has begun to attract my attention to “Snoopy”. Every time I saw a beagle on TV, she would cry “Look! This is the dog I adore! It is called “beagle””. I have always dreamt about a dog like this, active, who loves forest, bikes and running, a little and smooth haired. So, once I was walking down the city thinking that it is high time to make smth up as it was our wedding anniversary. Suddenly I saw a beagle! I knew that there was not a breed like this in the city. “What can It mean?” I thought to myself.  I always listen to my inner voice and it is the year of the dog. I understood this was our chance…

Word by word, I found out the telephone number of the owner, he had just born puppies. I wrote to him, he sent me some photos, first characteristics of these “little worms”. Two weeks I was following the pictures and I made a choice the smartest dog (as the owners told me) with an unusual red paw and a very sad look.

He was 7 weeks old…

So we had a Beagle Afina (Buffy).

Speaking about willfulness of Beagles, for 7 month disastrous ruins are missing. But I had a 2 month long holiday and 80 percent of me time I spend with my dog. We walk a lot. 3 or 4 hours a day. He did not spoil the furniture or wallpaper. She ate a pair of boots of my wife and my son. That  is it. She began to kick up a row when she was 5 month old. We had to move everything to the second floor. When it stopped to help, and it was the time when the dog started to get used to transportations to the exhibitions, I bought a box Ferplast Atlas-40, and close her there 3 or 4 hours a day. I am waiting for her teen age.

The questions how to grow her up – she learnt fast all minimum necessary commands, she can feel the intonation, she can understand human speech (unusual commands and requests) . So far we have 1 problem “puppy” when she has contacts with other dogs, she loses the contact with the master, she seems to listen but does not react. Like “You gave me the freedom, do not interfere”
